COMMERCE & AUTOMATION
Peedia: Laravel commerce and WhatsApp automation
Peedia is my full-stack e-commerce project. It connects a branded online store with a WhatsApp shopping experience, allowing customers to browse products, place orders, and complete payments within a conversation.
A storefront and a conversation
The project brings together two ways to shop: a web storefront and a WhatsApp bot. The storefront uses React and Next.js, while the commerce backend is built in Laravel. A Node.js microservice is also part of the system. The WhatsApp experience supports the shopping journey from product discovery through ordering and payment.
Independent stores on a shared platform
I designed Peedia with multi-tenant architecture and isolated data for each tenant. Stores can use custom domains or subdomains, with automated provisioning when a store is created. Customizable themes give each store its own presentation, while role-based access control governs access to its data and operations.
Payments and order visibility
Peedia integrates multiple payment gateways so merchants can accept payments through different providers. Real-time order tracking keeps the ordering experience connected to the backend. These features sit alongside multi-vendor support and the WhatsApp bot within the wider commerce platform.
My contribution
My work spans the Laravel backend, Node.js microservice, React and Next.js frontend, multi-tenant architecture, WhatsApp bot, and payment integrations. The project brings together my interests in backend systems, third-party APIs, and building a complete product end to end.
