About me
I’m Jafar Swadhique AK, a senior software engineer based in Kozhikode, Kerala. I enjoy figuring out how things work—and making them work better.
Over the past 4+ years, I’ve built web applications and backend systems across fintech and SaaS. My work lives mostly in PHP, Laravel, and Node.js, with React and Next.js bringing the other side to life.
At Cloudstack, I contribute to We-Connect—from a Node.js MCP server and CRM integrations to Stripe billing, AI service integrations, background jobs, and real-time updates. I also work on API performance and resolving customer issues.
I like owning a problem from the first conversation to the final deployment. Outside my day-to-day work, I build side projects, explore new technologies, and find small things worth making.

COMMERCE & AUTOMATION
- Built a full-stack, multi-vendor e-commerce platform with a Laravel backend, Node.js microservice, and React / Next.js frontend.
- Created a WhatsApp shopping bot so customers can browse products, place orders, and complete payments within a conversation.
- Designed multi-tenant architecture with isolated store data, role-based access, custom domains, and automated store provisioning.
- Integrated multiple payment gateways, customizable store themes, and real-time order tracking.

- Built an English-to-Malayalam dictionary bot using open-source OLAM data.
- Implemented real-time translations and similar-word suggestions when an exact match is unavailable.

- Created a library management application with book discovery and availability for members.

- Built an accounting application for tracking income and expenses, organizing items, and categorizing transactions.
- Added date-range reports and summaries of income, expenses, and profit, using React with Material UI and a Laravel backend.

- Designed and developed the We-Connect MCP server in Node.js, integrating it with the existing Laravel backend.
- Integrated HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, and Slack to support data synchronization and automated workflows.
- Enhanced Stripe billing with add-on and credit purchases alongside subscription plans, including feature access based on add-ons and seat allocations.
- Implemented background job processing for asynchronous operations and integrated WebSockets for real-time communication and updates.
- Integrated internal AI services into additional platform features to extend automation capabilities.
- Optimized existing APIs to improve response times and application performance.
